Children and young people are welcome at Saint James’

From Children’s Church and nursery for younger children to youth groups for teenagers, Saint James’ Warrenton is a place where young people are a full part of the church community.

Children

Children’s Church is open to all children from age 4 to fifth grade each Sunday morning year round during the 10:15 service. When you arrive, children will sit with their parents in the church until the service begins. The children will be invited to join the Children’s Church teachers in the Side Chapel, where they will walk downstairs together to class. The children return to their parents about midway through the main service, after the sermon and before Communion.

Nursery is available for children under 4 each Sunday year round. This gives parents the opportunity to participate in adult formation classes and Café before worshiping at the 10:15 service.

Youth

Saint James’ has separate youth groups for high schoolers and middle schoolers.

The High School School Youth Group meets most Sunday evenings during the school year for a meal followed by formation, discussion, games and more.

The Middle School Youth Group typically meets twice per month during the school year. We gather for fun games and discussion before sharing a meal together.
