High School Youth Group

SUNDAYS AT 6:30 P.M.

The High School School Youth Group meets most Sundays during the school year for a meal followed by formation, discussion, games and more. Throughout a typical program year, young people will visit Verdun Adventure Bound, participate in a ski trip to Seven Springs and help out with various parish-wide outreach events. Youth groups are open to any young person, regardless of whether they attend church at Saint James’.

Middle School Youth Group

SUNDAYS AT 5 P.M.

The Middle School Youth Group typically meets twice per month during the school year. We gather for fun games and discussion before sharing a meal together. Youth groups are open to any young person, regardless of whether they attend church at Saint James’.

Volunteer trips

EACH JUNE

High schoolers from Saint James’ embark on a volunteer trip each summer to help a community in need. Currently, our annual trip supports the work of Hurley Community Development in Hurley, Virginia, a small town in the mountains of Southwest Virginia.
