High schoolers from Saint James’ embark on a volunteer trip each summer to help a community in need. Currently, our annual trip supports the work of Hurley Community Development in Hurley, Virginia, a small town in the mountains of Southwest Virginia. In addition to the labor they provide, our young people interact with local residents, learn to see past stereotypes and expand their worldview.
