A message from Ben and Laura: ‘That was so cool!’
What an unbelievable day! And it wasn’t just a day. For days before and after we saw so many of you offering your incredible gifts to make Saturday so amazing. To look out and see all of that love, a collective joy… we will never forget it. Thank you. Those words don’t suffice but we do hope that all of you know the depth of our gratitude.
I don’t think I can contextualize what we experienced Saturday apart from the funeral of a relative stranger 75 hours earlier or of a beloved long time parishioner 45 hours later and what you did the next morning and do week in and week out. You showed up with heart in hand and it is what we love so much about you and what makes me so proud to be your rector. Thank you, thank you for being Saint James’!
