Bené Giglio
VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
Bené was born and raised in Virginia and moved to Northern Virginia in 1993. She received her Bachelor of Music Education from James Madison University in 1993 and her Master of Arts from George Mason University in 2002. Bené taught general music with Fairfax County Public Schools from 1994 until her retirement in 2024, completing 30 years of service in public education. She has attended Saint James’ since 2012, where she sings in the choir and serves as the volunteer coordinator for the parish. She and her husband, Chris Giglio, were married at Saint James’ in 2016. Between them, they have three adult sons. Their youngest, Michael, can often be found helping at the church as the “chief dishwasher” and assisting with other tasks around campus.
