Volunteers touch lives and make a difference

By Bené Giglio

Stephen Pearson and Ernie Hueter make eggs for Café on a recent Sunday.

As we reflect on this past quarter, I want to take a moment to express my heartfelt gratitude. Our volunteers are truly amazing, and Saint James’ continues to thrive because of you, your time, your energy, and your kindness. Whether you serve behind the scenes or front and center, your presence makes a difference. You help shape the welcoming and vibrant church community we are blessed to be part of.

Thank you for showing up, for saying “yes,” and for sharing your gifts so generously. Your ministry continues to touch lives in quiet and meaningful ways every single week.

As we look ahead, we do have one specific need: a permanent Café server for the third Sunday of each month. If you feel called, or even curious about filling this role, please reach out. We would be grateful.

Thank you again for all you do. You are a blessing to this church and to one another.

With appreciation,

Bené Giglio
