Volunteer Spotlight: Steve Pearson

Saint James’ is blessed with dedicated volunteers who bring warmth and generosity to our community. This week, we recognize Steve Pearson, a true cornerstone of service and hospitality in our parish.

If you’ve ever enjoyed a meal at Café, chances are Steve had a hand in making it delicious. He is always in the kitchen, cooking up something fabulous and ensuring everyone is well-fed. But his service goes far beyond the stove.

As an usher, Steve greets parishioners with a welcoming presence, and when it comes to Saint James’ Builds, he’s always ready to roll up his sleeves, lending his skills to help repair homes for those in need. Whether in the kitchen, at the door, or on a build site, Steve embodies the spirit of generosity and service.

Our church runs smoothly thanks to dedicated people like Steve. We are deeply grateful for his kindness, hard work, and unwavering commitment to our church and community.
