Volunteer Spotlight: Ninie Laing

Our church is blessed to have many dedicated volunteers, and this week we shine a light on Ninie Laing. Ninie grew up at Saint James’ and continues to serve it with devotion and grace.

As a retired art history professor, Ninie brings not only her creativity but also her deep understanding of beauty and meaning to our community. Last month, she led the Altar Guild training, where she shared how setting the altar is not just a task but a sacred act that enhances the depth of our worship.

Ninie is a vital presence in several ministries, including the Altar Guild, Flower Guild and History Committee, working behind the scenes to ensure the church runs smoothly. Her kindness, generosity, and willingness to help wherever needed make her an integral part of Saint James’.
