Volunteer Spotlight: Bob Dart

This week we celebrate Dr. Bob Dart, who has been part of Saint James’ since 1983. A retired orthopedic surgeon, Bob served as head of the Annual Pledge Committee under Father Chris Pierce and continues to serve faithfully on that committee today.

At Father Chris’ request, Bob helped launch the outreach program that became Learning Starts Early, now an independent nonprofit dedicated to early childhood education. He’s also served as the trip doctor on two Saint James’ mission trips, and he’s a Café volunteer and a Mardi Gras bartender, always ready to pitch in with good humor and grace.

Bob embodies the spirit of service, curiosity, and faith that make Saint James’ so special.
