Dedicating altar flowers and sanctuary candles in 2026

Most Sundays in the bulletin, you’ll notice the altar flowers and sanctuary candle are dedicated in memory of, in honor of, or in thanksgiving for a parishioner’s loved one.

The members of the Saint James’ Flower Guild and Altar Guild volunteer faithfully each week to keep our worship space beautiful, and sponsoring the altar flowers or the sanctuary candle is a wonderful way of honoring a loved one while supporting the guilds’ work. You can sign up below for a Sunday in 2026.

A $50 donation is suggested to sponsor altar flowers on a given Sunday, and a $12 donation is suggested to sponsor the sanctuary candle for two Sundays.
