From SJES: Admissions, new clubs and going ‘all in’
Admission for the 2026–2027 school year is well underway and space is becoming limited in both our preschool and elementary programs. At Saint James’, our school is a natural extension of our shared faith community - a place where children are known, loved, and thoughtfully challenged each day. Rooted in our Episcopal tradition, we nurture growth in mind, body, and spirit while cultivating strong character and joyful learning. If you know a family who may be seeking a school grounded in faith and community, we would be honored to connect with them. Space in several grade levels is limited and we encourage interested families to begin the application process soon.
March brings a joyful sense of anticipation to campus as we look ahead to longer days and the beauty of spring. Our K–5 students are hard at work preparing for their spring musicals, with Kindergarten and First Grade taking the stage on March 26. Excitement continues to grow through our Encore programs, which extend learning beyond the classroom in meaningful and engaging ways. Our new Robotics Club, led by parishioner and SJES parent Matt Rose, is off to a fantastic start, sparking creativity and problem-solving among students. Meanwhile, Little Stewards and Garden Club, both guided by parishioner and SJES parent Elaine Dubin, are eagerly preparing to return to the garden beds as the season changes. It is truly a season of growth, energy, and community at Saint James’.
Viva Saint James’! While tickets to this year’s Spring Gala are officially sold out, there are still exciting ways to get in on the fun and support our School. The Golden Opportunity Raffle is happening now - your chance to win big! One lucky winner will choose between a $2,500 gift certificate to The Greenbrier Resort for a well-deserved getaway or $2,500 toward Saint James’ tuition or summer camps. Each raffle ticket is $50 and can be purchased on the school website, saintjamesepiscopalschool.org. You do not need to attend the Gala to participate, so take a chance and let it ride!
