Volunteers needed for home repair project

The Saint James’ Builds ministry is seeking volunteers to help with a project in Remington on Saturday, Aug. 16. The couple who owns the home is elderly and cannot do the repairs themselves. The project will involve straightening and fixing a door and doorframe; fixing front balusters and columns; repairing tile; removing baseboard heaters; replacing and painting trim and moulding; cleaning a pellet stove; and reputtying and sealing some of the concrete block foundation on the exterior.
