Volunteer Spotlight: Cathy Byrne

Cathy Byrne brings cheerful optimism, organization, and a generous spirit to everything she does at Saint James’. After nearly 30 years with the U.S. government, Cathy and her husband, Gary, moved to Warrenton in 2020, and she has found great joy in becoming part of our community.

Cathy serves with the Altar Guild, Coffee Hour and the Refugee Ministry, always ready to step up wherever she is needed. She brings wisdom, kindness, and dependability to our refugee families, including helping with medical resources and transportation. In the Altar Guild, she is steadfast and dedicated, and she is now stepping into a leadership role.

Whether serving, organizing, driving, or simply lending a helping hand, Cathy makes everything more fun. We are grateful for her joyful heart and faithful service!
