2026 Annual Parish Meeting recap

The Annual Parish Meeting on Sunday, Feb. 1 provided an opportunity to hear updates from leaders of the church and Saint James’ Episcopal School — you can see the slides from the presentation above — and to elect new Vestry members to replace those whose terms were expiring. Thanks especially to Patrick Heijmen, Ross Fuller, Joe Irvin, Stacey Irvin and Warren Watkins for their thoughtful presentations.

Parishioners elected Ruth Fugee, Erik Jensen, Mary Neal and Lee Owsley to the Vestry. They replace Chris Giglio, Gita Grady, Lucian Niemeyer and Lori Working, whose three year terms ended.

The Vestry reconvened briefly to elect its officers. Patrick Heijmen will continue another year as the senior warden. Carrie Carter is the new junior warden, and Ashley Dunham is the new register.

We especially thank Chris Giglio, the outgoing junior warden, and Gita Grady, the outgoing register, for their service this past year.

For a more detailed look at the state of the parish, please read the 2025 Annual Report.
