Service Project of the Month: Books for the Book Cellar

For this month’s service project, we are collecting gently used children’s books to donate to the Book Cellar in Warrenton, a volunteer-run used bookstore that supports our local library. Books in good condition (clean, complete, and appropriate for children and teens) will be resold, with all proceeds going directly toward library programs like children’s and teen activities, summer reading, and community events.

With the help of Saint James’ Episcopal School fifth grader Lance Rose, who is supporting this effort as part of his own service project, we are excited to bring our school community together for a simple but meaningful cause.

It’s a wonderful way to pass along stories your family has loved while helping nurture a love of reading in others. Thank you for being part of it!

Book donations can be left on the Parish Hall stage by April 30.
