Nine years after our last parish retreat, we’re headed back to Shrine Mont for a weekend of reconnecting with each other in this beautiful retreat center in the mountains. There will be time for nature walks and other outdoor activities, games, prayer and reflection, and a Sunday-morning Eucharist at the Cathedral Shrine of the Transfiguration, the outdoor worship space that serves as the formal seat of the Diocese of Virginia. We are limited to 60 people for this retreat, so please sign up as soon as possible if you plan to attend.
Shrine Mont is located in the mountains west of Mount Jackson, near Bryce Resort. It’s about 1 ½ hours from Saint James’. Plan to arrive Friday evening, June 5 and leave after lunch on Sunday, June 7.
Rates
Rates include two nights’ stay and six meals: Dinner on Friday; breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday; and breakfast and lunch on Sunday.
$186 per adult (age 14+) in a double room
$242 per adult (age 14+) in a single room
$126 per child (age 4-13)
Children 3 and under are free.
