Endowment Appeal for Our School

We are thrilled to announce that a parishioner has made a very generous $40k donation to Saint James’ Church's endowment in honor of our School’s 40th Anniversary. This gift is a tremendous blessing. Not only will it help support our Episcopal mission in perpetuity, but it also honors the special and connected relationship between Church and School as the Church endowment is utilized to aid in capital costs for our shared campus. Endowment gifts like this one link past, current, and future generations by helping ensure Saint James’ vital presence is here for individuals and families yet to come through our doors.To celebrate its 40th year, and in connection with the gift to the Church’s endowment, our School is working to match that $40k for their own endowment. While our School's endowment is still in its infancy, its Board of Trustees has wisely managed the original 2014 investment of $50,000 to a fund worth almost $400,000 today. The Trustees want to grow the corpus to $500k before using any earnings.  Their plan is for the fund's income to be used solely to subsidize the operating costs and/or allowances for the ongoing capital maintenance and physical enhancement efforts at Saint James’ Episcopal School.

Let’s help our School, which is the largest ministry of our Church, raise $40k for their endowment so our shared mission helping children excel and grow in grace can also continue for generations to come.
