Diocesan Creation Care webinar on July 15

This webinar on July 15 at 7 p.m. is called A Spiritual Call: Creation Care’s Essential Role in the Life of the Community. It will feature a conversation with Payton Hoegh, the program director at the Center for Spirituality in Nature, about reimagining our idea of church spaces and how the work of Creation Care is rooted in our Christian identity and community building. The webinar is hosted by the Habitat Restoration Working Group of the Diocese of Virginia’s Creation Care Committee.

Through contemplative practices and Payton’s passion for finding the divine in nature, we will gain a deeper understanding of our spiritual call to creation care, the natural world, and discipleship in it. Because we will look at applications for varied age groups, this webinar is valuable for all parents, Christian formation leaders, clergy and laity.
