May 28 will be a special day at St. James’ Episcopal Church as we will be recognizing and welcoming our new members who have joined the parish since the beginning of the pandemic. The welcoming will occur during the 10:15 am service, and a reception honoring our new members will follow in the parish hall. The whole St. James’ community is invited as this is the first opportunity for all of us to gather and welcome our new members since the end of 2019.

At the reception, there will be name tags provided to facilitate our meet-and-greet atmosphere. There will also be a photographer for both new and existing members to update our pictorial directory. Oh yes, it’s Pentecost Day, so there will be cake.
