Come get your hands dirty in the SJES school gardens on Saturday, March 25 from 1pm-5pm! Volunteers are needed for maintenance and expansion of the school's vegetable and native plant gardens. Elementary-aged students and their parents are welcome; children must be accompanied by an adult. No gardening experience needed, high schoolers and boy scouts welcome! The school gardening program is also requesting donations of the following supplies:

• Seed starting potting mix, such as the Miracle Gro brand in the blue bags from Home Depot (highest need!)
• 3" or 4" individual plastic seedling pots
• Tomato and pepper cages
• Bagged garden soil
• Bagged compost
• Bagged mulch
• Garden plant stakes, such as bamboo
