Ruth Fugee, RN, MSN and Megan Fay, PA will teach the first Heartsaver CPR, AED, and First Aid class on Tuesday, 9/24/24, from 4:00 PM to 7:30 PM in the Parish Hall. This is an American Heart Association class designed for members of the public.

This class has no written test, you can have your manikin on a table, and if you are not able to demonstrate CPR at the end, you will become a CPR coach. We will cover signs of heart attack, stroke, and sepsis, and falls prevention in the first aid section. Classes will continue monthly until our newest instructor becomes certified, then they will continue twice monthly, once on a Tuesday afternoon, and once on a Saturday morning. The cost is $40, includes a book and a first aid kit, and is less than half of the commercial rate due to a generous grant from the PATH Foundation. Register at https://paybee.io/@sjec@3
